As always, there are tremendously wide ranges for copywriting services. Experienced copywriters generally charge more, as do those who incorporate research into their process, and do the copywriting themselves vs. outsourcing it to junior freelancers. Expect to pay $5k-$10k for website copy in 2025 if you’re hiring an experienced writer. Note that these prices may seem steep compared to agency prices which include both copy and design. Hiring an agency may save money, but your copy may be written by entry level writers. It’s important to have a clear grasp of your priorities so you can budget accordingly.
You’ll find copywriters who will charge a premium and deliver full websites in as little as 48 hours! Most take a few weeks from project discovery to revisions. And some copywriters book out months in advance. If you’re not willing to wait though, another copywriter would likely be available to jump in more quickly.
